Privacy, in plain words

What we collect

Your email address, the date you signed up, and which part of the site you signed up from. That's the whole list. We don't ask for your name, your kid's name, or your kid's age — and we don't want them.

What we use it for

Two things only:

• Sending you the free weekly Sunday activity email (and any free download you asked for).
• The occasional heads-up when we launch something new, like a card deck or family kit.

That's it. No unrelated promos, no daily drip, no "we've updated our newsletter strategy" spam.

We never sell or share your email

Your address is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to advertisers. The only outside help we use is the email service that delivers the newsletter and the hosting that stores the signup list — both work on our behalf and can't use your address for anything else.

Kids stay out of it

We never publish children's photos, names, or voices — not ours, not yours, not anyone's. Activities are written for a grown-up to run, so we never need a kid's account or a kid's details. If you reply with a story about your child, we won't share it publicly unless you clearly say we can.

Which emails you get (and how to change that)

There are only two kinds of email from us, and one list behind them:

• The Sunday activity — one email a week, every Sunday morning, with that week's 10-minute activity.
• Occasional launch notes — a handful of emails a year, only when something new ships (a card deck, a family kit). If you tapped "Notify me first" on the premium banner, this is what you asked for.
• Emails you triggered yourself — a magic-link sign-in email or a download link. These are one-off replies to something you clicked, so they aren't part of the newsletter and don't have an unsubscribe link.

We don't run separate topic-by-topic preference toggles yet — it's one simple list. If you'd like only the Sunday activity and no launch notes (or the other way round), email us and we'll set that on your record by hand.

Leaving is easy

Two ways out, both quick:

1. Scroll to the bottom of any Sunday email and click Unsubscribe. It's in every single one.
2. Or go straight to our unsubscribe page, type the email address you signed up with, and hit the button.

Either way it takes effect immediately — no confirmation maze, no "are you sure?", no win-back sequence. If a Sunday email was already on its way when you clicked, that last one may still land. And no hard feelings: you can sign up again any time.

How long we keep things

• While you're subscribed: we keep your email address, signup date, and which part of the site you signed up from, so we can send the Sunday email and avoid signing you up twice.
• After you unsubscribe: we keep just your address on a do-not-email record, so an old form or import can't accidentally start emailing you again. Ask us to delete it and it's gone for good.
• Member accounts: if you've signed in with a magic link, the linked account stays until you ask us to remove it.
• Activity feedback: your 😍 / 🙂 / 😐 rating and any comment are kept while the activity is live, and we read them to decide what to write next. Please don't include your kid's name — we don't need it.
• Delivery logs: if an email fails to send, we log the address and the error so we can retry or fix it. Those records are cleared once the problem is resolved.

Deleting your data

Want your email address wiped from our list entirely, not just unsubscribed? Email hello@onepromptwonder.com from the address you signed up with and say "please delete my data". We'll remove your subscriber record, any member account, and any feedback you left — usually within a few days, and we'll reply to confirm when it's done. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold on you the same way. A real person will reply.
